Air Duct

An air duct is a system of channels and passages used to provide ventilation in a building. It is a vital component of any HVAC system, as it is responsible for delivering conditioned air to different parts of the building. The air ducts are usually made of metal, plastic, or fiberglass, and are designed to be airtight to prevent air leakage. The air ducts are connected to the air handler, which is the main unit of the HVAC system, and is responsible for controlling the temperature and humidity of the air. The air handler also contains the filters, which are responsible for removing dust, dirt, and other contaminants from the air. The air ducts are connected to the vents, which are the outlets that allow the air to enter the building. The air ducts also have dampers, which are used to regulate the amount of air that is allowed to enter the building.
