Minisplit Systems

What is the definition of a minisplit systems? It is an air conditioning system that employs an outdoor condenser and an indoor air handler to cool and heat a single space or multiple zones within a building. It is also referred to as a ductless mini-split HVAC system. These systems offer the convenience of independently controlling the temperature in different rooms or zones, eliminating the need to cool or heat the entire space at the same time. With a minisplit system, the outdoor condenser unit is connected to the indoor air handler units by copper tubing and electrical wiring. This connection enables the air handler to draw refrigerant from the condenser, allowing the air handler to provide either hot or cold air to the space or zones within it. The outdoor condenser unit is responsible for cooling or heating the refrigerant to the desired temperature. The indoor air handler units then distribute the air through the ductwork. Minisplit systems are typically more efficient than traditional HV
