Rooftop Units

A rooftop unit (RTU) is a self-contained, outdoor air conditioning system that is typically installed on the roof of a building. It is used to provide cooling, heating, and ventilation to the interior of the building. RTUs are typically made up of several components, including a compressor, condenser, evaporator, fan, and other components. The compressor compresses the refrigerant, which is then circulated through the condenser and evaporator. The condenser removes heat from the refrigerant and transfers it to the outside air, while the evaporator absorbs heat from the air inside the building and transfers it to the refrigerant. The fan then circulates the cooled air throughout the building. RTUs are often used in commercial and industrial buildings, such as office buildings, warehouses, and factories. They are also used in residential buildings, such as apartment buildings and single-family homes. RTUs are an efficient and cost-effective way to cool and heat a building, and they are becoming increasingly popular due to their energy efficiency and ease of installation.
