Air Handling Unit

Air Handling Unit

An air handling unit (AHU) is a device used to regulate and circulate air within a building or structure. AHUs are often used in conjunction with heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to control the indoor climate of a space.

AHUs typically consist of a fan, filter, and coil. The fan draws fresh air into the system, which is then filtered to remove impurities. The filtered air is then passed over a coil, where it is either heated or cooled before being circulated back into the room.

AHUs can be used in both residential and commercial applications. In residential settings, AHUs are often used in HVAC systems to provide heating and cooling for an entire home. In commercial settings, AHUs are often used to regulate the indoor climate of large spaces, such as offices, factories, and shopping malls.
