Air Handling Unit Specifications

An air handling unit, or AHU, is a system used for controlling and circulating air as part of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. AHUs provide a balanced supply of both fresh air and temperature-conditioned air to premises for improved comfort levels, better indoor air quality, and energy efficiency. When specifying an AHU, there are several important parameters to consider, such as the size of the unit, its rated airflow capacity, its heating/cooling capacities, and motor power requirements. AHUs also need to be equipped with filters, dampers, and other components necessary to control the air circulation inside the building. By ensuring the unit meets all of your required specifications, you can ensure optimal performance and maximum value.
