Building Automation Network

A Building Automation Network (BAN) is a system that uses a network of interconnected devices to monitor and control the environment within a building. It is a system of sensors, controllers, and actuators that are connected together to provide a comprehensive monitoring and control system. BANs are designed to provide energy efficiency, safety, and comfort for occupants of a building. They can be used to monitor and control temperature, humidity, lighting, ventilation, and other environmental factors. BANs also provide access to real-time data about the building’s environment, which can be used to make informed decisions about energy use and building maintenance. BANs are becoming increasingly popular in commercial and residential buildings, as they offer a cost-effective way to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.
