Detailed Services Design

As technology advances, so do the capabilities of building management systems (BMS). A BMS is a computer-based system that controls and monitors the mechanical and electrical equipment in a commercial or industrial facility. This can include anything from the HVAC system to the lighting to the security system. The goal of a BMS is to optimize the performance of all these systems while reducing energy consumption and operating costs.

When designing a BMS, it is important to consider both the current and future needs of the facility. The system must be able to accommodate any changes or expansions that may be made to the building in the future. It is also important to ensure that the BMS is compatible with all existing equipment and software. To do this, a detailed services design definition must be created.

The services design definition should include a list of all desired features and functions of the BMS, as well as comprehensive testing and quality assurance plans. Once this definition is complete, the development team can begin creating the actual system.
