Indoor Air Handling Unit

An indoor air air handling unit (AHU) is a device used to condition and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system. An AHU is typically a large metal box containing a blower, heating or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers, sound attenuators, and dampers. The purpose of an AHU is to regulate and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning system. The AHU takes in outside air, conditions it, and distributes it to the different areas of the building. It also takes in return air from the building, conditions it, and exhausts it outside. The AHU is the central component of the HVAC system and is responsible for providing the correct amount of air, at the correct temperature and humidity, to the different areas of the building. The AHU is also responsible for filtering and cleaning the air, as well as controlling the humidity levels. The AHU is an essential part of any HVAC system and is critical for providing a comfortable and healthy indoor environment.
