Air Handler Unit Commercial

An air handler unit (AHU) is a commercial device used to regulate and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system. It is typically a large metal box containing a blower, heating or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers, sound attenuators, and dampers. The air handler is connected to a ductwork ventilation system that distributes the conditioned air through the building and returns it to the AHU. The air handler unit is responsible for supplying heated or cooled air to the building, as well as controlling the air pressure and temperature in the building. It is also responsible for providing ventilation, filtering the air, and controlling humidity levels. The AHU is an essential component of any commercial HVAC system, as it is responsible for ensuring that the building is comfortable and safe for occupants.
